What is an accountability partner? Someone who has shared goals where you choose to support each other through a process such as losing weight or eating more healthy. It is great to have someone else to share recipes with, work out with, commiserate with when things aren’t going you way or celebrate your scale and non-scale victories. However, there are times where this person may not live up to the parameters that you have set up.
What will you do if she doesn’t show up for your workout? What you will do if support calls are missed? Having external support has it purpose and works for many but on those days where you or your accountability partner fails to live up to expectation you have to be able to internally motivate yourself. That is why it is so important to create habits for yourself. Habits keep you going when everything else fails.
